Sculptra

Sculptra is a biostimulatory injectable that gradually restores facial volume and skin firmness by stimulating your body’s natural collagen production. Unlike traditional fillers that add immediate volume, Sculptra works over time to create a smoother, firmer, and more youthful appearance that lasts up to two years.
It’s ideal for treating facial hollowing, mid-face volume loss, and overall skin laxity—leaving you with natural-looking, long-lasting results that improve with each treatment.

  • About 45–60 minutes, depending on the number of areas treated.

  • Most patients need a series of 2 to 3 treatments spaced about 6 weeks apart. Results build gradually as new collagen forms, with maintenance typically every 1 to 2 years.

  • There is little to no downtime after Sculptra. Mild redness, swelling, or tenderness at the injection sites is common and usually resolves within a few days. Bruising may occur but can be covered with makeup once the skin is calm.
Patients are advised to massage the treated areas for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days to help ensure smooth, even collagen stimulation.

  • $900 per vial. The number of vials needed varies based on individual goals and treatment areas.
Package pricing is available after a personalized consultation and treatment plan are created.

  • Improvements develop gradually as your body produces new collagen, with most patients noticing visible changes within 4–6 weeks after the first treatment.
Full results appear after completing the series and can last up to 2 years.
Skin looks smoother, firmer, and naturally lifted, with a refreshed—not “filled”—appearance.

FAQs

What do I need to avoid post-procedure?

For the first 24 hours after treatment, avoid strenuous exercise, excessive heat, saunas, and alcohol to minimize swelling or bruising.
Do not massage the area more than directed—only follow the 5-5-5 rule (massage for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days).
Avoid facials, laser treatments, or other skin procedures on the treated area for at least 2 weeks unless cleared by your provider.
Use gentle skincare and sunscreen daily.

Is the procedure painful?

Discomfort is generally mild. Most patients describe Sculptra injections as a light pinch or pressure. A topical numbing cream and lidocaine mixed into the product help keep the treatment very comfortable.

Am I a candidate for Sculptra?

It’s best suited for healthy adults with mild to moderate facial volume loss or skin laxity.
Patients with active skin infections or certain autoimmune conditions may need to delay treatment.
A consultation is recommended to determine if Sculptra is the right choice for your goals and skin type.
