What Is PRF EZGel? The Natural Filler Alternative Getting Everyone's Attention

Okay I have to talk about PRF EZGel because I am genuinely obsessed and I can't stop recommending it to people who would never in a million years consider traditional filler.

Here's the thing about conventional dermal fillers: they work beautifully, but they're not for everyone. Some people don't want anything synthetic in their face. Some have had experiences with filler that looked heavy or migrated over time. Some are treating areas like under the eyes, where hyaluronic acid can behave unpredictably. PRF EZGel exists for exactly those people.

What it actually is

PRF stands for Platelet-Rich Fibrin. We draw a small vial of your blood (same as a routine lab draw), spin it in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the growth factors and platelets, then process it into a gel consistency that can be injected just like a traditional filler.

That's it. It's your own biology, concentrated and reinjected. No foreign material. No risk of allergic reaction. Nothing that can migrate to a place you didn't intend.

Where I use it most

Under-eye hollows are where I reach for PRF EZGel first. It's one of the trickiest areas to treat with conventional filler. The skin is thin, and hyaluronic acid can create a bluish tint called the Tyndall effect. PRF doesn't do that. It integrates naturally and stimulates collagen at the same time, so the results improve over weeks rather than peaking immediately.

I also love it for temples, cheeks, and nasolabial folds: anywhere someone wants soft, natural volume without that "done" quality that heavier fillers can sometimes give.

The honest trade-off

It doesn't last as long. Most clients see results for 6–12 months, sometimes longer with repeat treatments. That's shorter than hyaluronic acid fillers, which can last 12–18+ months in the right areas.

But here's what I tell clients: the longevity trade-off is worth it if the alternative is a result that looks or feels wrong to you. PRF also continues to improve skin quality over time. Even after the immediate volume has resorbed, people often notice their skin looks better.

What to expect at your appointment

We draw blood on-site, process it in the room, and inject within the same visit. There's typically some swelling for a day or two. Results develop gradually over 2–4 weeks as the growth factors do their work. Don't expect to walk out looking different. It's more like planting something than painting something.

If you've been curious about volume restoration but hesitant about fillers, PRF EZGel is worth a real conversation.
